This is a very active person who will need a bit more protein than the average adult. His protein intake would be 1.5g/lb of body weight, so he would need about 225 g of protein. Now he divides his protein in to 6 smaller meals, giving him a total of 37 g/meal, which is not very bad. Now let's say he wakes up at 6:00 am and goes to bed at 10:00 pm. A rule of thumb here i to not eat for three hours before going to sleep. The reason behind that is that when you sleep is when all of the muscle growth or fat loss really happens, and if you put food into your system, you're slowing down that process, and with that the food will not be digested properly, thus causing morning gas and stomach cramps. So, this person's last meal will be ingested at 7:00pm, and breakfast is within one hour of rising, thus giving you the schedule of:

7:00
9:30
12:00
2:30
5:00
7:00

The reason the last two meals are so close is that this is the time people get back from work and do there workouts, and you always need a post workout meal that is consumed roughly 30 minutes after a workout in order to maximize the muscle building and fat reduction. Now this may look like a lot of food, and it is. What I tell most of my peers is that these do not all have to be full meals, and I recommend that you invest in protein powder. It is a simple powder that provides you with approximately 25 g of protein per serving, and with it 225 or even 300 g of protein a day is very achievable.

As you have probably figured out from the previous post, you need a healthy combination of diet and exercise in order to acheive results. We'll start with the important part first: your diet. Now, trust me, you are not going to like what you hear. It's become automatic in our minds to think of starvation when we think of diet. Their are three types of diets: bulking, cuting, and maintenance. I will go over the macros first so that we are on the same page. When trying to decide how much and what to eat, there are three essential things that need to be taken into account: protein, carbohydrates, and fats. Now proteins are almost always a set amount but vary depending on the level of activity per day. Survival level is one gram of protein per pound of bodyweight, This is the part you're not going to like: many people are not getting enough protein a day. If you weigh 150 lbs, you need at least 150 grams of protein a day to even think about building muscle or losing fat or even staying as you are. One serving of chicken breast is about 23g of protein, and as you can see, you're going to need quite a few chicken breasts. There are many sources of solid, healthy proteins, including chicken, tuna, beef, cottage cheese, milk, and protein shakes. Some of you may ask, "well, I can't just sit and eat food all day." That is very true. instead of eating 3 meals a day, you should spread them out into 5-8 smaller meals. That way you can split your protein evenly and include some other snacks to go along.

leading a new life

There comes a time in every one's life when self-image comes into play on almost every action taken. Whether it be going to school, going to work, picking a new outfit, or even going on vacation, how one perceives his/her self will always be taken into account.
Unfortunately, when it comes to living a healthier life, there are generally two typical cases. Case #1 are the many people who think they can eat whatever they want and get a flat stomach and toned arms by performing 250 crunches per day and 250 push ups and follow all of that with 250 bicep curls to burn off the extra fat and calories. That's probably the biggest myth around. Case #2 are people who think that if they follow a healthy diet, exercise is not a necessity. The following blog entries will give you the information you have been looking for. These are tips that every athlete, every gymnast, every movie star, and even every bodybuilder follow to get the shape they want. Teenagers, what the hell man? why are most of the kids behaving the way they are on a daily bases? Most grow up believing that drinking, doing drugs, not studying, partying all day, having sex all night is the life style everyone lives. Where does all of this Ungerish crap come from? the answer is as simple as 1+1. That is what they see in music videos. I am not blaming a single music genre, rather it's the music industry that I am blaming. From an adult's perspective, this behavior is illogical. Do you think these artists live this life on a daily bases? Believe it or not, most teenagers nowadays think snoop dog and korn and Hannah Montana all live the life they portray in their music videos. They do not know that during the 1920's the first woman to ever pose nude in a video actually invented something called circuit jumping, through which we were able to get cell phones and satellites and so on. Think she got the idea from doing drugs or having sex? Let's face the facts here, the US future generation is not looking too promising. Sooner or later, India or china or whoever will figure out that Americans have become inferior. ask any Indian teenager what the integral of y=x is from 0 to 10 and he/she will immediately say 50. Ask any American what year 9/11 happened, and you'll get "ummmm........2004?" We need more strict school policies that will enable us to ensure the security of our nation for at least the upcoming years. We need to stop lowering standards to fit the needs of slow people. If you are slow, too bad, cause the education bus will not slow down for you. You better get on your feet and start running or else you will be bitten by a hungry lion. No I am not attacking those who truely have mental disorders, rather I am attacking those who think homework is for pussies or use some bullshit excuse like "I have A.D.D. that means I can't pay attention very long. That's why I failed the test." Bullshit. You failed the test because you did not study. Try spending 4-5 hours doing homework and reading your book instead of "chilling with friends." maybe that will help. Believe me, when our teenagers grow up, they will realise their behavior is just ridiculous. Until then, we need to restrain our youth with mental chains until we have future Einsteins and Newtons and shakespears running around, other wise we might as well just put our nation on a silver platter and hand it over to India or China or Russia or Korea or whoever, because in the end, lacking of education + acting like soulja boi= Phail

Until next time,

the legendary leader

enrichment of the mind

Many wonder what today's every-day teenager thinks of certain issues. Today, I will be putting rumors to an end because I wil be addressing opinions of many. To start things off, let's talk about president Bush. Believe it or not, many teens don't give a crap about the presidency. For those who care enough to watch the news, they say Bush sucks. The reason behind that is simple: That's what the news says. now, honestly, Bush is nt doing that bad of a job. He took us to war while keeping everyone in the country safe, and this is much better than suffering another depression and/or trough for an economic perspective. The reason behind all of his actions is truely a juxtaposition of what people think. Society thinks everything is easily obtainable. Truthbetold, that is a bunch of bullshit. We can't have free healthcare, better sanitation, or any of that stuff while maintaing an economic growth. true the war was rushed in to, but if Bush had done nothing, the nation might have suffered yet another 9/11. This Middle East invasion showed the world that we are ready to fight and temporarily stopped every nation dead in their tracks because of fear. Would you rather be taking loans from China or watching missiles fly accross our blue sky? many claim that Bush is "the worst president we've ever had." To that I reply, "do you know your own history?" I mean come on, We've had a drunk, a cross-dresser, and even a rapist in our presidential office. The irony in Bush's case is the good 'ol cliche "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." You see Franklin Pierce was the first fuck-up we had as a president. Believe me, this guy screwed up big time. Well, if you do some research, you'll notice that Bush's mother's last name is Pierce. yup, you got it, she is a direct descendnt of 'ol fuck-up himself. But then again, We elected Bush twice, so either we are dumber than we were 100 years ago or this guy is more valuable than we think.

'till next time,

the legendary leader

Purpose

Hello fellow legendary beings. By now, you should know that you were born to do great things, otherwise I am interested as to how you got to this blog. To make things simple, this blog is meant for us legends (or people who have really high egos like myself) to share our personal perspective and/or opinion on whatever topic we wish to discuss. It can be controversial or a simple observation that is not harmful. A word of caution: If we think your argument is specious, we will tell you that you are an idiot. We want to read something thatis logical, succinct, and interesting, so make it short guys.
